Girlish Number TV Anime Casts Sayaka Senbongi, Kaede Hondo, Yui Ishikawa

Kadokawa revealed the main cast for the Girlish Number television anime series on Sunday at the Dengeki Bunko Haru no Saiten 2016 event. The anime is an adaptation of writer Wataru Watari(My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU) and artist QP:flapper's (MM!, Celestial Method) novel project of the same name.

The show stars:

Sayaka Senbongi (Chronicles of the Going Home Club's Claire Kokonoe) as Chitose Karasuma

Kaede Hondo (Magical Somera-chan's Kukuru Nonomoto) as Yae Kugayama

Yui Ishikawa (Attack on Titan's Mikasa Ackerman) as Koto Katakura

The anime will air on TBS and BS-TBS.

The story follows the lives of Chitose Karasuma, a college student who aspires to be an idol voice actress, and other young women in the industry.

The March issue of Kadokawa's Dengeki G's Magazine launched the illustrated novel's serialization on January 30. Yūki Dōmoto will launch a manga adaptation in Dengeki G's Comic's May issue on March 30.
